I like Rotterdam. I lived in The Hague for a year and would come over as often as possible. I even biked there once. A few wonderful random memories:
1) having coffee after an inspiring visit to the Netherlands Architecture Institute
2) trying to sing (I couldn't speak Dutch) nationalistic sounding anthems along with the patrons at a dive gay bar (I've forgotten the name of)
3) gray gray gray skies in the winter

I have a job at the witte de with, centre for contemporary art in rotterdam
