Last Month Die Zeit ran a fascinating and troubling interview with Ingrid Caven about the way the Fassbinder Foundation is handling the legacy of the creative family that participated at every level in helping make Rainer's art. It seems they are trying to whitewash his story, even playing down the fact that he was gay. Here is the English translation.
