have the margaritas at puerto alegre lost their sex appeal? i weap for you roddy...

Posted by: randy | August 12, 2005 8:16 AM

no no, the margaritas are as wonderful as they ever were. i'm convinced they put a truth serum in the drink though, as every time i go there, people seriously begin to self-reveal.

re: audium, i still haven't been there. i'm *curious* about it, but i'm not sure i would enjoy it, am afraid it's going to have too much of a sort of dated san francisco style psychadelia to it.

yeah, i hear that the audium is best appreciated as kitsch. roddy, you should go for the full-on sf hippy experience...there's this place on 17th street between the castro and delores park that hosts this tibetan singing bowl experience, or something like that. i've always wanted to try it, but was frightened off by the off da hook new age quotient. damn, did a little web research....looks like it's too late:

ah... i'm sad that they're not doing the throat singing/bowl rubbing/aura loving thing there anymore! i guess 1972 has to come to an end sometime, even in a place like san francisco.

oh, i'm being too flippant, i actually probably would have had a great time there. i better catch the audium before it dissapears.
